(8 Brass) As featured on Pat Metheny's Imaginary Day album, this chart utilizes many of the standard Metheny compositional devices such as: mixed meter, an expansive solo section, ebbs and flows of high energy and dynamic rhythm section parts. Solos have been arranged for either piano, guitar or tenor saxophone with an optional repeat to feature more than just one soloist. Soprano saxophone is also prominently featured in the arrangement; and a strong saxophone section is necessary for this piece to be successful. This is a terrific work and the band will have a great time meeting the challenges presented.
