(Level IV)
Upside Downside - Mike Stern’s tune is rhythmically and melodically
challenging, but lots of fun.
Soloists
are free to let loose fusion chops, accompanists have many fun roles to play,
and the rhythm section gets a workout.
Despite the amount of 16th note rhythms, this is a complete
crowd pleaser.
