The tribute to jazz great and trumpet player, Clifford Brown, has remained a jazz standard since first introduced. The lush harmonies provide a beautiful setting for Golson's tribute. RAY SHEEHAN received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Denver with a double major - theory/composition and music education. He completed a Master of Music degree at the University of Northern Colorado. He has worked as a musician in St. Louis, Denver, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. After completing his bachelor's degree, he taught music at the secondary level for thirty years and has now retired from music education to pursue his many other interests. He currently directs a community choir, The Northland Chorale and the Jazz Chorale, does copy work for several music publishers and produces a daily radio talk show for a national Christian radio network.
