RANDY CRENSHAW, born in San Diego and raised in the Pacific Northwest, has been involved with a wild variety of different musical experiences professionally, both as a vocalist and instrumentalist, working his way through Berklee College of Music in Boston, singing and arranging for an a cappella doo-wop group while studying jazz arranging and composition, and currently singing and arranging in the L.A. studios. His credits as a singer and arranger include hundreds of commercials, television shows, movies, and records, as well as his singing and arranging as a member of the group Vocal Nation. Randy has just finished a debut CD with an a cappella "vocal jazz summit" group, Just 4 Kicks, with Kirby Shaw, Kirk Marcy, and Vijay Singh, set for release in early 1997. Randy's professional credits are as varied as albums for David Byrne, Michael Jackson, David Foster, Rod Stewart and Disney; television programs including In Living Color, The Simpsons and Star Trek: The Next Generation; movies including City Slickers, The Hunt For Red October, The New Miracle on 34th Street and That Thing You Do, and commercials for McDonald's, Nissan, AT&T, Southwest Airlines and Mattel, among many others.
