A knockout amalgam of jazz waltz/traditional carol moves this little gem along at a rocket pace with phrases alternating between straight 8th and swing, and harmonic content between jazz and traditional. The middle section of the piece offers a brief slowdown before returning to the fast-paced crescendo to the climax. SATB a cappella.

RICH MANNERS has two degrees in composition from Chicago Musical College. He is the president of Renaissance Productions in Chicago and has composed music for commercials and films for the past 23 years. His commissioned works include a violin concerto for the Chicago Symphony and both jazz and traditional music written for the King's Singers. He was also a faculty member at Chicago Musical College teaching courses in jingle and film music production.
